PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent an erroneous operation of a lighting device without having effect of noises (electric noises) emitted from a vehicle. SOLUTION: A lighting system has lighting devices 7a-7f divided into blocks, a lighting distribution board 1 for performing power supply to the lighting devices 7a-7f, optical switches 3, 5 or optical sensors 4, 6 as switch means arranged on respective lighting devices 7a-7f divided into blocks and turning-on and off the lighting devices 7a-7f, and a system control panel 2 connected with the optical switches 3, 5 and the optical sensors 4, 6 via an optical communication lines 2a-2d as communication lines and controlling the power supply on the lighting distribution board 1 in response to signals transmitted from the optical switches 3, 5 and the optical sensors 4, 6 and showing either of turning-on/turning-off. The optical signals transmitted from the optical switches 3, 5 and the optical sensors 4, 6 through the optical communication lines 2a-2d can be connected and disconnected.
