Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To actualize a means having simple construction for heating a fuel cell and a fuel storage portion while utilizing heat generated in electronic equipment. SOLUTION: A fuel cell system 10 includes the fuel cell 12, the fuel storage portion 14 storing a hydrogen storage alloy for storing hydrogen to be supplied to the fuel cell 12, a heat transfer mechanism for transferring heat generated in the electronic equipment to which power generated by the fuel cell 12 is supplied, to the fuel cell 12 and the fuel storage portion 14, and a moving mechanism 46 for moving the heat transfer mechanism 40 with the heat of the fuel cell 12 or the fuel storage portion 14. The heat transfer mechanism 40 is so constructed that the quantity of the heat to be transferred to the fuel cell 12 and the fuel storage portion 14 is changed with the movement by the moving mechanism 46.
