SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises an evaporation part 20 which generates steam, a reforming part 22 which reforms a fuel material by steam and generates an anode gas, a fuel cell 1 of solid oxide type, an exhaust gas passage 8 in which an exhaust gas discharged from the fuel cell 1 flows, a purifying part 82 which is installed in the exhaust gas passage 8 and has a purifying catalyst to purify an environmental impact component contained in the exhaust gas, and a coolant passage 41 which is arranged along the purifying part 82 and has a catalyst cooling part 45 to flow a coolant for cooling the purifying part 82.
