Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting method for concrete, by which a concrete structure can be efficiently cut to a predetermined depth by imparting a press-cutting force to a wire saw when a predetermined part of the concrete structure is cut through press-cutting using the wire saw from the surface side. SOLUTION: For both side supporting arms 4 and 4, the wire saw 6 is stretched between the distal end guide pulleys 5 and 5. Both side supporting arms are inserted in both side core holes 2 and 2 which are drilled to a predetermined depth on both ends of a planned cutting section 1 of the concrete structure which plans to be cut, and the wire saw 6 is made to run under a tension. Thus, the planned cutting section 1 between both side core holes 2 and 2 is cut. At the same time, an intermediate supporting arm 7 is inserted in an intermediate core hole 3 which is drilled between both side core holes 2 and 2 in advance at the time of the cutting. Then, an intermediate section of the wire saw 6 is made to advance downward by the distal end guide pulley 8 of the intermediate supporting arm, and the planned cutting section is cut to the predetermined depth while imparting a press-cutting force.
