Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce improper operation caused by an influence of an outdoor air temperature in a thermal expansion valve. SOLUTION: In a sealing space 20 of an element 53, ethanol as an additive for reducing a condensation temperature of a temperature-sensitive medium is sealed together with an R134a as the temperature-sensitive medium. That allows the condensation temperature of the mixture of the temperature-sensitive medium and the additive to be set at a value lower than the condensation temperature of the temperature-sensitive medium, and prevents the mixture in the sealing space 20 from being condensed even at a low outdoor air temperature, and consequently, reduces the improper operation caused by the influence of the outdoor air temperature.
