PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system in which the service provider finds only the apparatus which is managed by the service provider providing services to the house of an end user. SOLUTION: A center server 104 includes an access control unit 205 which receives a request for finding an apparatus from an HSP server 106 and grants the request for finding an apparatus when a combination of information for specifying the HSP server, information for specifying the home apparatus and information for specifying the home gateway, all of which are contained in the request for finding an apparatus, is stored in a database 105, and a home apparatus finding unit 206 which obtains the information related to the home apparatus from the home gateway 103 based on the request for finding an apparatus when the request for finding an apparatus is granted, decides whether or not the information related to the home apparatus thus obtained matches the information related to the home apparatus stored in the database 105, and notifies the HSP server 106 of the access information to the home apparatus for the matching home apparatus 101 and 102.
