Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relatively surely suppress occurrence of phase inversion null as a countermeasure on a card side, in an RFID system for performing AKS modulation by a load switch. SOLUTION: The RFID module is configured to transmit data to a reader/writer by performing AKS modulation to carrier wave by the load switch 241 within an RFID circuit block 240. The RFID module includes phase modulation means (233 and 234) for changing the phase of the carrier wave according to the distance to the reader/writer and the ON/OFF state of a load switch 221. The distance to the reader/writer is estimated from the magnitude of antenna excitation voltage. For example, the phase modulation means shift, when the antenna excitation voltage exceeds a predetermine threshold and the load switch 221 is ON, the phase of the carrier wave to the advance side.
