Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting a physical quantity which prevents scattering of a metal component in a cavity on the occasion of welding a lid to a package with a seal ring used, and thus has high reliability. SOLUTION: The device 100 for detecting the physical quantity includes the package 10 wherein a vibrator 70 is packaged, the seal ring 20 which is formed on the top 16 around an opening 11 of the package 10, a ring-shaped member 30 which is formed inside the seal ring 20 on the top 16 around the opening 11 of the package 10 separately from the seal ring 20, and the lid 40 which is welded to the top of the seal ring 20.
