Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a label-free sensor that facilitates detecting a signal. SOLUTION: The label-free sensor includes a substrate, a first and second electrodes formed, spaced apart from each other, on the substrate, and a semiconductor layer formed on the substrate so as to come into contact with the first and second electrodes. The semiconductor layer has a plurality of probe groups which are functionalized and bonded to the semiconductor layer, and these are used for measuring a substance which binds specifically to the probe groups. In the label-free sensor, probe groups are bonded to the semiconductor layer and a substance bonded to the probe groups is measured by change in an electric current, so that a fluorescent signal does not need to be detected by a fluorescence detector, thereby rapid and highly sensitive real-time measurement can be carried out.
