Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice transplanter having improved assemblability while having a construction enabling an engine to be miniaturized. SOLUTION: The rice transplanter includes a seedling-carrying platform 46 and a seedling-transplanting device 2 having a plurality of transplanting tine units (transplanting tines 57, transplanting tine-driving rotary shafts 58, transmission shafts 54 and the like) in the rear side of a traveling machine body 1 having front wheels 3 and rear wheels 4. The transplanting tine unit includes a plurality of the transplanting tines 57, electrically driven motors 100 for the transplanting tines, in the same number as that of the plurality of the transplanting tines 57, and an electrically driven motor 101 for moving the seedling-carrying platform 46 in the horizontal and vertical directions, and is constituted so that each of the transplanting tines 57 may be driven separately by each of the electrically driven motors 100 for the transplanting tines.
