Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper-making workability-improving agent which has both an excellent stain adhesion-preventing effect and an excellent peeling-improving effect in a process for producing paper or cardboard, and to provide a method for improving the paper-making workability of a paper machine using the same. SOLUTION: The paper-making workability-improving agent contains a mixture liquid of an acidic surfactant having a constitution portion as a nonionic surfactant and an amino group-containing polymer, and has both an excellent stain adhesion-preventing effect and an excellent peeling-improving effect.
