Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for discriminating the health state of daily cattle, by which the health state of the daily cattle can certainly and quickly be grasped. SOLUTION: This method for discriminating the health state of daily cattle includes setting discrimination conditions for reaction data Di related to the detection timing of a cattle number detection sensor 3i for detecting the cattle number of daily cattle C by preliminarily setting to at least an automatic feeding machine 2 and/or reaction data Dp related to the detection timing of a cattle body detection sensor 3p for detecting the presence of the daily cattle C, detecting reaction data Di related to the detection timing of the cattle number detection sensor 3i and reaction data Dp related to the detection timing of the cattle body detection sensor 3p, when the automatic feeding machine 2 is moved to an optional stall Ac to feed, and then discriminating the health state of the daily cattle C on the basis of the detected reaction data Di, Dp and the discrimination conditions. Thus, the health state of the daily cattle can be discriminated at an excellent cost efficiency without giving a useless stress to the daily cattle. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
