PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information reproducing device which properly keeps a locking part protruding at a side plate of an information recording medium storage part engaged with a protrusion formed at an upper part of an eject lever in a notch shape, and also stably disengages them when a cartridge is to be taken out while opening the information recording medium storage part, and to provide electronic equipment including the same. SOLUTION: An eject lever 131 has an elastic deformation part 131c having a protrusion which can engage with the locking part arranged facing the side plate, a body part 131e curved along a corner part from the elastic deformation part 131c and arranged at a predetermined spacing from the holding plate, an operation part 131a hung vertically at the inside of the information recording medium storage part from the body part 131e, and an abutting part 131d which extends from the operation part 131a and is in contact with or separated from the holding plate while the cartridge is stored.
