PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an entrance slave unit with a camera capable of easily reducing sunlight and reflected light made incident on the camera according to an installation status. SOLUTION: The entrance slave unit 1 with the camera includes a calling button 10 for a visitor to call a resident, the camera 11 for imaging the visitor, and a speech communication part for having speech communication with the resident. The entrance slave unit with the camera is configured by combining an upper case 1a and a lower case, and a camera cover 15 for protecting the camera built in the upper case and the lower case is mounted to the upper case. At the front surface side of the camera cover, a transparent cover 2 with a dimming function which has a function of reacting to the sunlight and reducing light transmittance when the direct light of the sun passes through in the daytime or a transparent cover with a dimming function which has a function of reducing the amount of the reflected light when receiving the reflected light of the sunlight from a building, other building structures or the like is freely detachably mounted.
