PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating method of an inverting table device which properly lubricates a mechanical element such as a driving part and suppresses the generation of heat in the mechanical element, and to provide a lubricating system for the same. SOLUTION: The lubricating system of the inverting table device 7 includes the inverting table device 7 of a surface grinder in which an inverting table 9 reciprocates in one direction by the rotation of a rotating shaft 12 provided with an eccentric pin 15 in an upper part and a supply device for supplying lubricating oil to the inverting table device 7. The supply device supplies the lubricating oil to the upper part of the eccentric pin 15 through inner passages 38, 39 and 40 of the rotating shaft 12 and supplies the lubricating oil downward from the upper part of the eccentric pin 15 to lubricate the sliding part of the rotating shaft 12.
