Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface cleaning device for a tape-shaped or a sheet-shaped product, a device that is satisfactory in performance in spite of a small size which can be installed in a narrow space of an existing production line without modifying the line. SOLUTION: The left and right ends of a cleaning roller 1 are rotatably held by the support part 3 of side panels 2 arranged facing opposite to each other. The support part of the left and right side-panels are each formed circular-arcuately so as to face upward from the horizontal direction in the advancing direction of a target to be cleaned.
