PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particulate electro static charging apparatus capable of stably and quantitatively charge controlling the electro static charge states including the amount of average electro static charge of particulates or electro static charge amount distribution even if characteristics of particles or electro static charge materials are fluctuated by environmental conditions or durable wear or contamination. SOLUTION: This apparatus includes electro static surfaces of mutually different surface electric field strengths as surfaces which the particulates of an electro static object contained in an air stream collide with and contact, allows the particulates to contact and pass through the electro static surfaces, thereby controlling the electro static charge amount of the particulates.
