PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new dental chair enhanced in comfortability for a patient and improved in convenience for an operator. SOLUTION: The patient support apparatus 10 that is movable between an upright configuration and a reclined configuration can include an integrated cushion member 30 having a lower portion and an upper portion; a neck support receiving area; and a neck support member 76. The lower portion is configured to come into contact with at least a portion of the lower back of a patient when the patient occupies the apparatus and the upper portion is configured to come into contact with at least a portion of the head of the patient when the patient occupies the apparatus. The integrated cushion member 30 can also have an intermediate portion between the lower and upper portions. The neck support member 76 can have a front side configured to come into contact with at least a portion of the back of the neck of the patient and a back side configured so that a portion of the back side is received in the neck support receiving area.
