Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vending machine in which a refrigerant circuit can be inexpensively constituted by shortening total piping length of a refrigerant circuit. SOLUTION: The vending machine has a cooling circulation circuit composed of a compressor, a condenser solenoid valve, a condenser, an expansion means, a distributor, a cooler inlet solenoid valve, an internal heat exchanger, a cooler outlet solenoid valve and a confluence unit. In the cooling circulation circuit, piping connection is made from the compressor to an inlet side connection point located between the internal heat exchanger inlet side and the cooler inlet solenoid valve through a heater solenoid valve, and piping connection is made from an outlet side connection point located between the internal heat exchanger outlet side and the cooler outlet solenoid valve to the distributor through a second expansion means to constitute a heating-cooling circulation circuit carrying out heat pump operation by allowing the internal heat exchanger to act as a condenser. The inlet side connection point and the outlet side connection point are disposed on the outside of a merchandise storage chamber to shorten the total piping length of the refrigerant circuit.
