Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of discharging a latent heat storage material for discharging the latent heat storage material within a heat storage tank in the reusable state. SOLUTION: In the method of discharging the latent heat storage material 12 for discharging the latent heat storage material 12 performing heat storage and heat release by using heat absorbed/emitted during phase change between a solid phase and a liquid phase from the heat storage tank 4, the latent heat storage material 12 within the heat storage tank 4 is molten, and the molten latent heat storage material 12 is input to an input port 23 of a cooling kneading device 22 connected to the heat storage tank 4. The cooling kneading device 22 cools and kneads the latent heat storage material 12 while transferring it from the input port 23 side to a discharge port 24 side, and the latent heat storage material 12 which becomes a powdery state by the cooling and kneading is continuously discharged from the discharge port 24.
