PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem in the prior arts: when transmitting information required for managing and maintaining an image forming apparatus in addition to event information including fault information or the like, a technology with which a communication load can be suppressed between the image forming apparatus and a management device while suppressing pressure to a storage region of the image forming apparatus has not been provided. SOLUTION: In a plurality of events detected at an image forming apparatus within a predetermined period of time, event related information is not transmitted according to all the plurality of events and the same event ID is set just at least once to event information in order to make the transmitted event related information correspond to the plurality of relevant events.
