Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation mode selecting device wherein contact reliability is not reduced for a long period of time even if the device is frequently operated, and predetermined click feeling can be maintained. SOLUTION: In an operation dial 60, a mode selecting magnet 51 having opposite magnetic poles alternately on the same circumference thereof is arranged. The operational dial 60 is rotatably supported above a printed board 30 on which first and second Hall ICs 33, 34 are disposed, and is rotated to be operated, so that click feeling is applied to an operator for each predetermined angle and the magnetic poles of the mode selecting magnet 51 are detected by the first and second Hall ICs 33, 34 to output the rotational position of the operation dial 60.
