Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high quality image by suppressing the occurrence of image variations by eliminating rivulets that occur between an image carrier and a developer carrier. SOLUTION: An image forming device comprises a developing part 30 having a developer carrier 36 for carrying a liquid developer supplied from a developer storage part 311 that stores a liquid developer having toner and carrier liquid, an image carrier 10 developed by the developing part 30, a developer replenishing part 70 having a developer replenishing channel 712 for replenishing the liquid developer from a developer concentration adjusting part 71 for adjusting the toner concentration of the liquid developer to the developer storage part 311, a viscosity detecting part 80 for detecting the viscosity of the liquid developer, and a control part 20 for adjusting the moving speed of the image carrier 36 based on the viscosity of the liquid developer detected by the viscosity detecting part 80.
