Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling solidification device for molten slag, capable of securing cooling solidification throughput by preventing a gap from being formed between the slag and a cylindrical rotor. SOLUTION: A pair of rotatable cylindrical rotors 10a, 10b with axes 11a, 11b in a horizontal direction are disposed so as to contact with each other on outer circumference faces, or adjacently with a clearance of a degree not allowing the downflow of molten slang. In the cooling solidification device for molten slag, on receiving the rotary driving by the cylindrical rotor, both cylindrical rotors rotate in an upward direction in a contact position or an adjacent position, a receiving space for receiving the supply of the molten slag 30 is formed between the outer circumference faces of both cylindrical rotors in a position higher than the contact or adjacent position, and means 10a-1, 10b-1 for cooling the outer circumference faces are provided in each interior of both cylindrical rotors. Rotatable pinch rollers 14a, 15a, 14b, 15b are provided, pressing slag adhered to the outer circumference faces of the cylindrical rotors against the outer circumference faces.
