Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fluidized incinerator capable of suppressing N2O generation amount to a level equivalent to a "high temperature incineration method", drastically reducing the use amount of auxiliary fuel compared with the "high temperature incineration method" and sufficiently decomposing N2O even when the incinerator is a large furnace with 7 m or larger of furnace body inner diameter. SOLUTION: Inside of a furnace body 1 to which sludge is charged is divided in the height direction. A lower portion is set as a pyrolysis zone 3 for supplying and burning fluidization air having 1.1 or less of an air ratio together with fuel and pyrolytically decomposing the air while sludge is fluidized, a portion immediately above the lower portion as a bed upper combustion zone 4 forming a locally high temperature field by supplying only the combustion air having 0.1-0.3 of an air ratio and decomposing N2O, and an uppermost portion of the furnace body as a complete combustion zone 5 for completely burning unburned portions. A supply position of secondary combustion air in the bed upper combustion zone 4 is divided into two upper and lower stages, and the supply speed of the secondary combustion air is set to be 70 m/s or more of high speed, so as to respond to the large furnace.
