SOLUTION: An apparatus for supporting knowledge sharing includes: a message selecting unit 103 for selecting, from a message database 102, message information about topics to be accumulated as document information in a document database 108; a first extraction unit 105 for extracting a first keyword whose frequency of appearance in the latest first period is not less than a reference value from the message information selected; a second extraction unit 106 for extracting a second keyword whose frequency of appearance in a second period prior to the first period is not less than a reference value from the message information selected; a search unit 109 for searching the document database 108 for first document information whose search scores with respect to the message information from which the first keyword has been extracted are not less than a threshold value; a determining unit 110 for determining whether or not the second document information associated with the message information containing the second keyword is in the document database 108; and a presentation unit 111 for presenting the first and second keywords so as to identify whether or not there is the first document information and the second document information.
