Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera which has a quick return mirror device capable of shortening time taken until completing focusing by making range-finding start timing early, and can perform high-speed consecutive photography. SOLUTION: A single lens reflex camera 1 includes: a mirror frame 15 which includes a quick return mirror 16 that reciprocates between a down-position where it enters an optical path of an imaging optical system and an up-position where it retreats therefrom; a stopper 4a which collides with the mirror frame 15 near the down-position when the mirror frame 15 is restored to the down-position from the up-position, to regulate a stop position at the down-position; a sub mirror frame 17 which is installed on the mirror frame 15, and includes a sub mirror that guides a portion of subject luminous flux transmitted through the quick return mirror to a range-finding element for focusing when the mirror frame 15 is at the down-position; and U-grooves 4f and 4g which regulate angle deviation of the sub mirror caused by vibration due to the collision by coming into contact with the sub mirror frame 17 in the collision.
