Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve simplification and space-saving of a chip processing device. SOLUTION: The chip processing device includes: a dirty-liquid storage tank 20 for storing dirty liquid; a casing pipe 30 that is at least partially composed of a cylindrical filter 31 and arranged in a longitudinal direction while its lower end is located inside the dirty-liquid storage tank 20; a rotating screw 40 that is inserted into the inside of the casing pipe 30 and whose lower end extends to the inside of the dirty-liquid storage tank 20 and whose upper end extends upwardly from the upper end of the casing pipe 30, and further, whose outer periphery is brought close to the inner-peripheral face of the casing pipe 30; a coolant recovery tank 50 that is provided around the casing pipe 30 and pushed up by the rotating screw 40 so as to recover a coolant permeating through from the inside to the outside of the cylindrical filter 31; and a chip discharge port 60 for discharging chips pushed up upwardly inside the casing pipe 30 by the rotating screw 40.
