Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pigment dispersion composition for a color filter, having improved storage stability, and to provide an ink utilizing the composition. SOLUTION: The pigment dispersion composition for the color filter, having the improved storage stability is obtained by combining two components of organic coloring matter derivatives or heteroaromatic ring derivatives in a ratio within a specific range. The pigment ink for the color filter is obtained by using the composition. The storage stability can be improved by combining the two components of the organic coloring matter derivatives or the heteroaromatic ring derivatives in the ratio within the specific range in the pigment composition comprising at least a pigment, a dispersing agent, a solvent, and the organic coloring matter derivatives or the heteroaromatic ring derivatives.
