Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet printer capable of depositing UV inks not to be blotted each other, and allowing curing under a smoothed state. SOLUTION: This inkjet printer 10 includes a printing unit 20 provided with a guide rail 15b extended along a lateral direction opposedly to a platen 12a, a carriage 21 provided reciprocation-movably laterally along the guide rail 15b, a printer head 22 for delivering the UV ink, and a right ultraviolet ray irradiation device 23R and a left ultraviolet ray irradiation device 23L for applying an ultraviolet ray, and a controller for controlling intensities of the ultraviolet rays applied from the right ultraviolet ray irradiation device 23R and the left ultraviolet ray irradiation device 23L, wherein the right ultraviolet ray irradiation device 23R and the left ultraviolet ray irradiation device 23L are arranged in a lateral side with respect to the printer head 22, and the controller controls the intensities of the ultraviolet rays applied from the right ultraviolet ray irradiation device 23R and the left ultraviolet ray irradiation device 23L, in response to the reciprocation-motion of the carriage 21.
