Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ozone generating apparatus where the damage of an ozonizer is suppressed to be minimum by detecting short circuit at a high speed and disconnecting a power source when a glass electrode tube in the ozonizer is broken and short-circuited. SOLUTION: The ozone generating apparatus is provided with a first discriminator to detect voltage applied to the ozonizer and discriminate whether the voltage is a specified value or less or not, a second discriminator to detect the output current of an inverter and discriminate whether the current is a specified value or more or not, and a controlling device to stop the ozonizer when the voltage is the specified value or less and the current is the specified value or more based on the inputted outputs of the first and second discriminators.
