Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of easily managing relevance between image data using an identification number given to the image data. SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: a number giving part 3 that automatically gives an identification number that cannot be changed optionally and cannot be deleted optionally to each image data stored in a storage medium 9; and a managing part 3 that manages information related to contents of image processing which is performed to a desired image data stored in the storage medium 9 using the identification number. The managing part 3 associates and manages the identification number given to child image data which is image data produced by carrying out image processing to the desired image data, the information related to contents of image processing, and the identification number given to the desired image data.
