Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an annular dual-flow check valve for controlling a flow through concentric channels that have a common outlet. SOLUTION: The annular dual-flow check valve (10) includes: an outer body (12) and an inner body (14) that define the concentric channels; an annular poppet valve (24) activated by a spring (22), which is located in the outer channel (16) and has a range of motion in an axial direction; and an opening (44) through the inner body (14), which connects the outer channel (16) to the inner channel (18); wherein the axial movement of the annular poppet (24) is regulated by the pressure of a flow upstream of the annular poppet (24) in the outer channel (16) and the axial range of motion of the annular poppet (24) includes at least two axial positions, namely, a closed position where the annular poppet (24) substantially covers the opening (44) and an open position where at least a portion of the opening (44) is not covered by the annular poppet (24).
