Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform operation of high energy-saving performance by accurately estimating (deriving) temperature distribution in a hot water storage tank and accurately estimating (deriving) the residual amount of hot water in the hot water storage tank in a cogeneration system. SOLUTION: An operation control device acquires (step 502) the hot and cold water temperature of each position detected by each temperature sensor, derives (step 504) the temperature of an optional position between the adjacent temperature sensors based on a multidimensional expression in which the hot and cold water temperatures of both temperature sensor positions acquired by a hot and cold water temperature acquiring means are set as variables, and at least one of terms has a coefficient determined by the operating time of a power generator, and derives (step 506) the residual amount of hot water in the hot water storage tank based on the hot and cold water temperature in each position acquired by the hot and cold water temperature acquiring means and on the hot and cold water temperature of each optional position derived by the temperature deriving means between the temperature sensors.
