PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus having excellent design characteristics of an exterior surface, and to provide a method for manufacturing the electronic apparatus. SOLUTION: The body part 3 of the electronic apparatus 1 is provided with a frame palm rest 44 to which a printed board 42 and a heat radiation unit 43 can be mounted. By fastening a screw to the boss 60 of the frame palm rest 44 from a frame palm rest 44 side, the frame palm rest 44 and a bottom 41 are integrated by means of the screw. Therefore, the printed board 42 and the heat radiation unit 43 are not required to be fixed to the bottom 41, so that a boss, a rib, etc. are not required to be formed at the bottom 41. Consequently, a boss 47, a screw hole, a rib, etc. are not formed on the inner surface 46 of the bottom 41, except the peripheral border part of the bottom 41. As a result of this, the exterior surface 45 of the bottom 41 has no sink mark, etc. formed during molding, and has more excellent design characteristics than the case of a bottom having the boss, the rib, etc. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
