Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a stable molding operation over a long period in a vertical injection molding machine. SOLUTION: The vertical injection molding machine includes a plurality of weights 10 each connected to a movable body 4 through a wire 24, the wire 24 being laid around a pulley 16. Since the total weight of the plurality of weights 10 is equal to the weight of the movable body 4, the plurality of weights 10 is regularly balanced with the movable body 4 with the pulley 16 as a fulcrum. The plurality of weights 10 is provided and these weights are dispersively arranged in this way, whereby the stress caused by the weight of the movable body 4 applied to each wire 24 and each pulley 16 around which the wire 24 is laid is dispersed. Therefore, even when the movable body 4 is repetitively vertically moved, the movable body 4 can be smoothly raised and lowered while suppressing the elongation of each wire 24 and the deformation of each pulley 16. Consequently, the stable molding operation of the vertical injection molding machine 1 can be maintained over a long period. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
