Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the droplet of a lubricant being accumulated in a head slider from dropping on a recording medium. SOLUTION: Two pad faces 236, 238 deeper than a flowing-out side rail face 220 are arranged at both sides of the flowing out side rail face 220 at the flowing-out end side. Out of two pad faces, the pad face 238 at the outer peripheral side has an angle β1, and the pad face 236 at the inner peripheral side has an angle β2. When absolute values of skew angles at an innermost peripheral data track position and an outer peripheral data track position are defined as α1and α2, respectively, following relations are established: α2≤β1, α1+β1≤90°, α1≤β2, and α2+β2≤90°.
