Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a monitoring device for an elevator car having an inner monitoring device superior in visibility, by intuitively knowing the doorway direction of a picture reflected by a TV monitor using few components, even in a state where an operation panel operator cannot confirm the boarding-alighting of a back face side door in a state such as being full in a car, in a two-way doorway elevator. SOLUTION: The two-way doorway elevator is constituted by installing a TV camera 6 arranged in the ceiling so as to reflect both doorways, a TV monitor 4a installed so that the front side doorway is reflected in the upper part of an operation panel 3a arranged in the vicinity of the front side doorway, the TV monitor 4a in an upper part of an operation panel 3b arranged in the vicinity of the back face side doorway arranged in the opposite direction of the doorway, and a TV monitor 4b so that the back face side doorway is reflected on the upper part by being vertically oppositely installed.
