Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automate displacement of heavy batteries. SOLUTION: The first and second conveying parts 2, 3 are provided. The first and second elevating means 4, 5 make it possible to displace the batteries W between the first and second conveying parts 2, 3. The first conveying part 2 is provided with a loading elevating means 6 for loading the used battery W. An electric charge conveying part 7 having a battery charger 73 is connected to the second conveying part 3. The connection part is provided with a charging position elevating means 8 for displacing the battery W into the electric charge conveying part 7 from the second conveying part 3. The battery charger 73 is provided with an electric charge electrode cylinder 73b for electrical engagement with and disengagement from the electrode of the battery W, and is provided with an electric charge power supply part 73a for supplying charging electric power.
