Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera for correcting captured images without affecting normal camera operation after imaging, and to provide a method and a program for controlling cameras. SOLUTION: An imaging section 10 captures a subject to generate a captured image. An operation section 26 inputs camera operation instructions or the like. A face image correction section 181 applies predetermined correction to the captured image for recording generated by the imaging section 10 when an imaging instruction is input by the operation section 26. A correction control section 211 interrupts the correction of the face image correction section 181 when any user operation including operation instructions of a digital camera 1 is input by the operation section 26 after the imaging, and resumes the correction of the face image correction section 181 if no new operation is input after processing according to the input user's operation.
