Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an accelerator position sensor capable of acquiring a guarantee signal only by a receiving coil without another guarantee coil. SOLUTION: The accelerator position sensor includes: a transmitting coil connected to an oscillator and generating a magnetic field; a coupler disposed with a predetermined distance from the transmitting coil and controlling the magnetic field generated by the transmitting coil; a receiving coil disposed between the transmitting coil and the coupler, receiving the magnetic field generated by the transmitting coil, and generating an AC frequency; and a signal processing part connected to the receiving coil and outputting a value of displacement of an acceleration pedal by calculating rotation information of the coupler using the AC frequency obtained from the receiving coil.
