Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select more correctly a frame of concern which is most suitable for confirming operations with respect to a treated part during operative treatment from frames constituting imaged motion pictures. SOLUTION: The subject is irradiated with an X ray. The X-ray transmitting the subject is detected. An X-ray image is generated on the basis of X-ray transmission information of the subject which is obtained by the detected X ray. A region of interest is set with respect to the X-ray image. At least one frame from the frames constituting the X-ray image is selected on the basis of the luminance value data that the pixels constituting the area of concern have and the selected frame is indicated on a display screen.
