Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus and method of correcting antenna beam directionality, for correcting the beam directionality without changing the posture of a satellite and without using a means for correcting a measurement error among a plurality of earth stations. SOLUTION: The antenna beam directionality correcting apparatus includes: a target value calculation part 5 for measuring the reception level of emitted radio waves in the respective earth stations G1-Gm while perturbing the excitation phase of the respective elements of emitter array elements H1-Hn provided on the satellite side, obtaining a contribution degree that the excitation phase of the emitter array elements affects the reception level of the respective earth stations on the basis of a measured result, and obtaining the highest reception level in the respective earth stations as a target value; and a correction data calculation part 6 for correcting the excitation amplitude and excitation phase of the respective elements of the emitter array elements so that the reception level of the respective earth stations approaches the target value on the basis of the target value and the contribution degree obtained in the target value calculation part.
