Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device with no sense of incongruity and without detriment to a sense of beauty. SOLUTION: A lighting device is configured to arrange a plurality of sets of adjacent light emission elements (e.g., light-emitting diodes) having different color temperatures. By making the light emission elements having different color temperatures to be adjacent in one set, colors of light rays emitted from the respective light emission elements having different color temperatures are mixed and visible as a light source of a single color, and thereby there is no sense of incongruity and no detriment to a sense of beauty even if two light emission elements are caused to emit light. In addition, by making an isolation distance between the light emission elements in one set, it is possible to shorten a distance required to mix colors of light rays emitted from the respective light emission elements, and to closely arrange a cover such as a diffusive plate covering the light emission elements to the light emission elements, so as to achieve a thin-type lighting device.
