Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve optimum cooking by preventing the finish temperature from varying according to the weight and shape of food and the initial state of food in carrying out cooking. SOLUTION: This heating cooker includes a food placing tray 19 provided at a bottom part of a heating chamber 18; a weight detecting means 14 supporting the food placing tray 19; a non-contact temperature detecting means 37 provided at the upper part of the heating chamber 18; and a storage device 29a measuring the weight of tableware for putting food beforehand and storing it. When heating the food put in the tableware, the weight of only the food is computed from the weight of the food stored in the storage device 29a and a weight detection value detected by the weight detecting means, and a food heating time and microwave output are determined based on this value. Only the initial temperature of the food is measured by the temperature detecting means 14, and the state of the food is determined in three stages of frozen, refrigerated and ordinary temperature according to the measured temperature. The food heating time and microwave output determined based on the weight of only the food are corrected according to the food state in three stages. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
