Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide content information according to various retrieval requests of a user, in a content retrieval device used when retrieving content useful for the user, in response to the request of the user from a client device, and when transmitting the information about the retrieved content to the client device. SOLUTION: A profile storage part 110 stores profiles of the user and the content, and a relation between the user and the content. A content recommendation part 130 recommends content valued by users similar to the user having made a request to retrieve the content, based on the profile of the user and the relation stored in the profile storage part 110. A similar content retrieval part 140 prepares a list of the contents similar to the content recommended by the content recommendation part 130, using the profile of the content.
