Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily attach a seat belt by easily taking a tongue of the seat belt when an occupant sits on a rear seat or the like and attaches the seat belt. SOLUTION: The seat belt attachment auxiliary device includes: a projection arm drive part 30 capable of projecting the seat belt 8 usually stored in a part of a seat back 3 and laid along the seat back 3 toward a front side by turning of a projection arm 33; a drive transmission part 40 in which a wire 45 connected to the projection arm 33 and a coil spring 41 are arranged in series; a drive source 50 having a motor 51 attaining turning of the projection arm 33 by rolling-up or drawing out a wire 35 connected to the coil spring 41; a detection sensor 22 for detecting the sitting state of the occupant. The projection arm 33 is operated by wire rolling-up action of the motor 51 by detecting the sitting occupant by the detection sensor 22, and the seat belt 8 is forwardly projected to a side position of the occupant to assist attachment of the seat belt of the occupant.
