Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily assign respective voices to key areas in optional ranges by use of a split function when using a plurality of voices. SOLUTION: A split point for splitting a key area into two is set and a range of the key area is designated according to key area information for each of a plurality of voices. Also, sounding key area designating information for setting one of LOW which is assigned to a sounding key area lower than the split point, HI which is assigned to the sounding key area higher than the split point, or BOTH which is assigned to the sounding key area designated according to the key area information is prepared for each of the plurality of voices. It is made possible to assign a voice a to the sounding key area lower than the split point SP, a voice b to the sounding key area higher than the split point SP, and a voice h to an optional sounding key area according to the sounding key area specifying information.
