Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of suppressing the release of an alkali gas to an indoor space by neutralizing the surface of the indoor concrete and a concrete structure treated with the acceleration of neutralization. SOLUTION: In the method of suppressing the production of the alkali gas in the concrete by neutralizing the surface layer part of the concrete after the concrete is placed in the indoor, a neutralization means includes at least: a step of filling a concrete neutralizing gas in a space in contact with the surface layer part of the concrete; and a step of exposing the surface layer part to the filled concrete neutralizing gas.
