Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water cut-off joint which is fixed by burying it into an underground structure and capable of preventing its sealing performance from being reduced even if a tensile force is generated in this water cut-off joint. SOLUTION: This water cut-off joint is composed of a joint material 7 formed on the outside of a joint part 5 between box culverts 2a and 2b and having flowability and extending and contracting properties and a belt-like water cut-off joint 1 having watertightness and extending and contracting properties and provided on the inside of the joint 5 for the joint material 7. This water cut-off joint 1 includes a first sheet body 11 positioned on a joint material 7 side in a central part 10 of the joint and a second sheet body 12 positioned on the inside of the first sheet body 11 and having a flexible part 29 in the direction of its width. Lateral strain of a pair of sheet-like joint blade parts 14 formed to extend from both sides in the direction of width of the central part 10 of the joint and buried in each of the box culverts 2a, 2b is set to be smaller than the lateral strain of all the synthetic rubber on the assumption that the tensile force to be generated is the same.
